I am the wife of an old boyfriend/friend of Buffies, Spike Natale. We have been following the search for her and also would like to extend our prayers and thoughts to the family. I have always heard nice memories and stories of her and we, like you, hope for a speedy end to this awful situation. I watch alot of crime shows and am just wondering if there is a chance her case could be put on one of those shows like "disappeared" or a show like that? It seems that there are so many of those shows out there now that could maybe help put her story out there for more people to see . God Bless you .

I am sammies friend and I read all these messages left for Buffie and its amazing!! I havent cried like this in a while and I am so glad that we have a town that has put so much effort into the search for Buffie. Buffie was like a mom to me. She would always cheer for me and sam when we were in little league softball. And everyone knew it was Buffie with her loud outgoing voice
We all look forward to that day that we find Buffie. I know that she would be so proud of Samantha!!! Love you Buffie!!! <3

We're still looking for you Buf, it's been far too long, but it's just a matter of time and we will have you back. Check Mate Private investigations in Cortland is looking for you now thanks to Billie-jo and I am doing everything I can to support her and Check Mate.
We are having a fundraiser at The Civic Center in Marathon, New York on Sunday August 7th 2011 from Noon to 5:00 pm to help pay for Check Mate's services. If we have money left over after finding you, it will be donated to help other families of missing or exploited people.

It is heart breaking that this spring will make it three yrs that this mom, daughter sister friend has been missing. For the past 2 summers my family and i have spent many long days in the woods looking for any signs that she was there. But Spring also brings many new things in mother nature every year, and hope is at the top of our list. We did not know her, but we live close, we have heard the stories, my kids are passionate because she has kids, and now we are determined. So I can not wait for Spring, there is a lost voice out there and she wants to come home, and it is the only way to begin to figure out who would have done this. And is the person who or they in our community???? Kinda Scary.
